9 Things You Could Do When You're Sick Or Tired After A Long Day Of Work

Whether you're feeling tired after five days of working full days (been there) or drained from energy due to having a cold and/or fever (still there), then I've got the perfect list for you.
  1. Write your memoir. Okay, so you KNOW this memoir won't be published, but a study shows that writing memoirs can spark up some new memories you forgot. It also helps you understand yourself better.
  2. Sleep. Resting is not only good for your health. It also means curling up in a fetal position in your warm, cuddly bed, which is the best thing about sleeping. And who doesn't enjoy sleeping? Crazy people.
  3. Take a hot, relaxing, bubbly bath. Bought a bottle of bubbly shower gel and never used it? Well now you can. Put on some relaxing music, switch off the lights, light some candles, close your eyes and embark on a relaxing journey.
  4. Watch cat videos. Because there's nothing cuter and more cheerful than a cute little kitten doing the most random and ridiculous things.
  5. Watch that movie you were absolutely DYING to see. Whether it's that rom-com you were saving for when you're sad at home, or that horror movie you know will make you wet yourself. Just watch it.
  6. Drink a warm beverage. Whether it's tea (my absolute favourite), coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate or any hot drink of your choice, it's going to make you feel warm and good (Just don't reach for that mulled wine!).
  7. Visit a gaming website you haven't visited in AGES. Take a trip down memory lane—while at the same time staying away from Boredom Avenue—by logging onto the gaming website you used to log onto before Facebook even existed and try beating your old highscores.
  8. Read a book. I'm currently reading George Orwell's classic dystopian novel 1984, and the story is so thought-provoking and gripping that, for an instant, it made me forget I even had a cold!
  9. Write your bucket list. It's never too late to start one.
